In Bloom

Good Morning!!!!! What a glorious Sunday it is here in Sunny FL!!!! Love the smell of fresh cut grass. The gardens are in bloom and what a beautiful site it is. Which brings me to this post. I made this basket for my soon to be Mother-in-law (which by the way I adore). This basket got me a mention on the fabulous Chirp. I was so excited it was the first time I was ever recognized for one of my projects. I felt discovered!!!!! LOL! For this project I used my Cricut of course and the two cartridges: George and Accent Essentials. I hope I inspired someone today!!!!!!

We have a winner in the house!!!!!! Liz!!!!! Email your address!!!!

Drumroll Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is Blog Candy time-- check out this kit. I was a super kit addict last year and I think I have one of every kit for 2008. I still love kit clubs, but I had to slow down. I had about 15 subs at one time. In retrospect that was just insane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But anyway this is my first Blog Candy and I am so excited about spreading the love of paper and embellies with you. Remember leave me a comment, sub to my blog and link me to your blog if possible-- I think I'm saying the right. With out further delay------ here it is.

This is an entire kit with mini album and all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Paper Flowers

I love flowers and what a better way to enjoy flowers that will never die. How cool is that!!! I created these flowers-- of course with my Cricut. I used the George cartridge for this project. I think it turned out super cute. The roses were inspired by a tutorial by
Susan Blue Robots. just click on the link and search for paper roses and it will come up for you. http://susanbluerobot.blogspot.com/ Her tutorial requires a 6 petal flower, but the George cartridge only has a 5 petal flower so I had to tweek it a bit to fit my needs. I think the tweeking worked if I say so myself. Thanks for stopping by and I hope I inspired someone today!!!!!

Paperdolls!!!!!!

Good Morning everyone!!!!! It is a beautiful day here in sunny Florida. I will be posting some of my past projects until I catch up. This is my first "eva" paperdoll! I attached this paperdoll to a Name book that I put together for a co-worker; her first grand daughter. I wish I would had photographed the inside of the book it has so many super cute elements. I did a lot of paper pieceing with my trusty Cricut. I had so much fun creating!!!! I hope I inspired someone today!!!!!!

Sun Flower Purse

Wow my first post. So excited about my blog. I finally started my blog, thanks to the members over at www.cricut.com message board. The ladies over there are so inspiring and encoranging.

This handbag or purse was inspired by and Sharif handbag I saw at HSN. I love his bags, but honestly can't afford them becasue I'm always spending money on crafting supplies. I used Tags, Bags, Boxes and More for the purse base and Accent Essentials for the sunflower. I used clear embossing powder for the petals to give it the skinny patent leather look I was going for. Thanks for looking and I hope I inspired someone today!!!!!
